This month we are excited to highlight Brenda who is one of the newest additions to our Woodcrest Staff. Brenda has taken over in the business office and we are so grateful to have her with us! She comes to us with an extensive background in long term care. Brenda was raised in Elsmere, Kentucky and graduated from Dixie High School in 1988. She started working in Long-Term Care directly after graduating as a CNA at Madonna Manor. She then transitioned to Admissions and the Business Office at Florence Park where she worked for 10 years! Needless to say, she has a passion for working in this industry.
When not at work, Brenda can be found enjoying dirt track racing at the Florence Speedway with her family. They love going to classic car shows and pretty much anything involving cars! She has been with her significant other for 30+ years and have 2 amazing children together. Brenda’s daughter is a senior at Dixie Heights High School and her son graduated from Dixie in 2014 but passed away in July 2016. He was in the National Guard and going to school to be an auto mechanic. Since his passing Brenda has really got into writing poetry. She always remembers the good times and if not at a car show, they could be found at Kings Island as they LOVED going there as a family.
