This month we are so excited to introduce you to Richie! Richie has been at Woodcrest for almost a year now as the maintenance assistant. The residents love having Richie in the facility and are grateful to have someone who they can rely on to help with anything they need fixed! When Richie was asked what his favorite part about Woodcrest was, he is said he loves the residents so much! They are so friendly and welcoming and make his job enjoyable!
Richie originally grew up in Harrison County where he attended Harrison County High School. After high school, Richie wanted a change in scenery and decided to move to San Antonio, Texas! He said he originally moved there to build houses and then also did bartending on the side. After living in Texas for 8 years, he decided to move back to Kentucky to be closer to his family. Richie loves being around his family and is so grateful for his children Hailey, 6, & Joe, 7. They are his main priority, and he loves being able to share all his interests and hobbies with them. Richie has an awesome knife collection and can’t wait to start hunting for new ones with his son. He also loves to rebuild old motorcycles and is currently working on fixing up two old chopper bicycles for his kids, so they can ride around together. They love to go fishing, camping, and exploring around Kentucky as a family! Thank you for letting us get to know you a little better Richie!
