Felicia Beatty is one of our remarkable nurses here at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehab. She can typically be found on our 1st floor East hallway, caring for our short-term residents. She is from Caroll County, Kentucky and has been a nurse since 2015. Felicia joined our staff at Woodcrest in April of this year. She decided to settle in and make Woodcrest her permanent home after being a travel nurse prior to and during the Covid Pandemic. Felicia knew she wanted to be a nurse from a very young age. Growing up, she helped care for her sister who is paralyzed from the neck down. This instilled a passion for caring for those that cannot care for themselves. She chose long-term as her career because she loves the geriatric population. To be able to help the elderly at a time in their life when they are the most vulnerable is fulfilling in a way that you can’t put into words. While not at work, Felicia spends her time with her three kids and three dogs. They love the outdoors, but especially four wheeling, boating, fishing and camping. We are so thankful to have Felicia with us at Woodcrest. Her compassion and attentiveness make her an asset as well as a blessing to our residents.
