As we welcomed the New Year at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehab, January was filled with laughter, music, and exciting activities that brought warmth to the chilly winter days.
We kicked off the month with a New Years party! We also had a special celebration honoring the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley. Residents and staff alike enjoyed a day full of Elvis trivia, classic tunes, and a screening of one of his iconic movies. It was a delightful trip down memory lane that had everyone tapping their toes and singing along.
Later in the month, we hosted Weird Food Day, where adventurous taste buds got to experience some unusual flavor combinations! Residents sampled curious treats like brunch, Schweiger cheese, and peanut butter pairings, sparking plenty of laughs and interesting discussions about favorite foods and childhood memories.
January wouldn’t be complete without the joy of live entertainment, and we were fortunate to welcome talented performers who filled our halls with music and energy. From toe-tapping tunes to soulful serenades, our residents enjoyed every moment of these special events that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
We’re excited to carry this momentum into February, with more engaging activities, themed days, and heartwarming moments to share. Thank you to all our staff, residents, and volunteers for making January such a memorable month!
